It Didn't Work! Or did it....

So, you know how previously I decided to switch Zachy's meds to the evenings instead of the mornings so he would have behaviors at school?! Well it worked for all of 2 days! Imagine my surprise when after secretly wanting a bad report on Wednesday, I received a good report. "WHAT?! No! It's supposed to be bad!". I couldn't believe that he had managed to have a good day without having his morning meds. By the time he got home from school, though, it was a whole different story. So we gave him his meds and an hour later, "Presto-Change-o", instant good kid! "This is crazy!", I was thinking to myself...."Did I stumble upon the perfect balance simply by wanting him to have bad behaviors at school?". "No way!", I told myself. But I really did! Since we changed the medication schedule around, he has been such a good boy! Both at school and at home! Don't get me wrong, it is absolutely wonderful, albeit for the whole have behaviors at school part! But hey, if I finally found a way for my baby to be on good behavior and reap all of the rewards from it too...so be it. I will just have to find some other way to ensure he gets his eligibility. After all, the Autism hasn't gone away and he does still have difficulties even when he is on his best behavior.
