Say Something Good About Yourself Day..

The eternal optimist in me has led me to an idea for today's post. It has been difficult lately to be positive and keep our chins up. We have so many negatives to deal with...gas prices, credit crisis, job loss, financial worries, climbing crime rates etc. It becomes very easy to slip into despair and depression that makes it difficult to trudge on. More people are dealing with depression now more than ever. I am a strong believer of karma (not just because of Earl either) and I believe that positive thoughts bring positive actions. I find myself forgetting to live this way from time to time but I also see the trail of negativity left behind by the slip up. So today, I am challenging you all to change your karma! Lets get positive about life and see if we can make a change for the better. Maybe if we can get enough people on the positive side, we can change things for everyone. So post your positive thoughts on your blog and link back here. Lets get the good mojo going! Here are my positive thoughts to give you an idea...
1. My children are healthy and happy.
2. My husband is well and loves me no matter what.
3. I still have my job and I like working there.
4. My family is well and thinking positive.
5. I wake up every day to see the sun rising on a new day full of new possibilities.
6. I am not homeless and I can even get on my computer and blog everyday.
7. I have gorgeous, long, red hair.
8. I am fortunate enough to have beautiful green eyes.
9. My kids think I am the best mommy in the whole world!
10. My husband thinks I am sexy and smart (even more than Palin)
11. My dog thinks I am awesome and loves to snuggle me.
12. My house is relatively clean.
13. I have clean clothes to wear to work today.
14. I have a nice hot cup of coffee to enjoy while I blog.
15. Someone somewhere is reading my blog.
16. Someday, I will get more followers.
See, it isn't too hard. No matter how crazy or how conceded you may sound, believe what you say with all of your heart. And remind yourself daily that you will get through this, whatever "this" is. After all, life goes on and we always get past our difficulties. If you think positive and remember your strengths, you will have the ability to get through whatever comes your way!

Great way to look at the positives in your life. If we all did that and stopped focussing on what brings us down, how much happier would we be? Great post!

Have a great day!
